Today, on Earth Day 2022, Y1 Hockey are thrilled to bring you some really exciting news. As of earlier this week, we are officially Carbon Neutral.
Over the past two years we have been making big changes within our business to be as sustainable as possible and to reduce our carbon footprint. About a year ago we started thinking bigger, we wanted to be the world’s first carbon neutral hockey brand. So after many internal meetings, we reached out to Carbon Jacked and asked whether this was possible. After many calls, meetings and countless hours auditing our supply chain we are thrilled to announce we have now met out goal and we are officially Carbon Neutral!
In the coming weeks we will be sharing all sorts of content around sustainability and we are looking forward to educating the hockey community on how each one of us can reduce our emissions and make the world more habitable for future generations.
